nVidia continua lo sviluppo della famiglia di schede video specificamente dedicate ad applicazioni Open GL professionali

nVidia ha ufficialmente presentato una nuova scheda video della famiglia Quadro; il modello Quadro FX 1100 è basato su chip NV36GL e verrà adottato da IBM e HP nella propria famiglia di workstation grafiche di fascia media.

La nuova scheda utilizza un quantitativo di 128 Mbytes di memoria video DDR, collegata con bus a 128bit; la bandwidth complessiva dichiarata da nVidia è di 10,4 Gbytes al secondo, per una frequenza di clock corrispondente di 650 Mhz.

Available from IBM in its IntelliStation MPro and ZPro workstations as well as HP in the HP Workstation xw4100, HP Workstation xw6000, and HP Workstation xw8000 early next year, the NVIDIA Quadro FX 1100 is armed with a high-end architecture that is designed to allow developers to interactively simulate a virtually unlimited range of real-world properties.

ottime schede le quadro FX!
ho da poco acquistato il modello 500 e pur non essendo un fulmine il suo sporco lavoro lo fa in maniera più che egregia
tra poco avrò la possibilità di fare un upgrade verso la 1000 ora che con l'uscita della 1100 i prezzi caleranno
cmq minima differenza tra le due schede nel bench viewperf-3dsmax-02

1100: 26.9
